We have made the following updates on the latest version of our Summary of Finance template (Version 8):
- Significantly revised the amount of data and the way it is stored under the hood in order to reduce file size. As a result, there will no longer be a “full” and a “lite” version.
- Dropped 2023-24 and added 2029-30.
- Updated to latest SOF student counts as of March 23 for both 2025-26 and 2024-25. For 2025-26, the template uses DPE data, which is based on PEIMS attendance submissions covering the fall semester. The template also now uses trends from 2024-25 and 2025-26 to project future years (i.e., no longer relies on attendance projections submitted in TEAL from Winter 2024).
- The template reflects the latest tax year 2025 data from the Comptroller’s office that was recertified on March 10.
- A minor error on the WADA Detail Report was corrected. Thanks to Pat at Hondo ISD for catching that!
