Please note, we are relying on preliminary Property Value Study data for purposes of modeling out the impact of TEA's revision in our template. Your CAD may have submitted new data to the state that we do not yet have access to.
As a result, you may want to request the latest 50-253 form from your CADs to see if the data aligns with our self-report file and the new frozen levy figures we have loaded into our latest template.
If your district is showing the same number of accounts in both column A and column B of the freeze tab on the Self-Report file, this may indicate that your CAD did not submit the account-level data on the new 50-897b form and that an appeal or protest is needed.
There some nuance to evaluating this so please reach out if you have any questions. Also, if you work with another firm to file value appeals or audits, they should be able to assist you as well.
