(AUSTIN, TX) — Veteran leader Lori Boswell will join leading public education consulting firm MoakCasey in March as Vice President of School Finance, further strengthening the firm’s commitment to serving Texas school districts with expert financial and operational guidance.
 
Boswell brings more than 26 years of experience in Texas public school finance and operations. She will support districts across the state through comprehensive financial and operational advisory services, with a focus on strengthening financial management practices, improving internal controls and aligning district operations with long-term fiscal sustainability.

Before joining MoakCasey, Boswell served as Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operations for Weatherford ISD, where she provided executive oversight of finance, human resources, facilities, custodial services, child nutrition, transportation and technology. She previously held senior financial leadership roles with Fort Worth ISD, including Senior Finance Officer and Controller.

Throughout her career, Boswell has led budgeting, accounting and financial reporting functions, overseen debt and capital planning, guided revenue forecasting and compliance efforts, and supported organizational leadership at some of the state’s largest and most dynamic school systems. She is widely respected for helping district leaders navigate complex school finance matters with clarity and confidence.
 
Boswell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Illinois and is a Registered Texas School Business Administrator through the Texas Association of School Business Officials.
